The “Miracle” Product

3 sisters Restorasis

Buying a new skincare product is not unlike dating or even purchasing a home, in that you wonder how it will affect you, if it’s a value investment, and if it’s really worth the sticker price.

And although expensive is a very relative term, that’s what I’d call 3 Sisters’ Restorasis, a recent addition to my daily regimen. But baby listen here: it is so worth it.

Restorasis is a two-part skin system that complements any skin care regimen—seriously—it’s not meant to replace anything and it won’t conflict with what you already use.

Right away, as in 20 seconds right away, my skin tone is more even, like someone stealthily airbrushed my face. My complexion isn’t just bright, it’s downright luminous, and my face is smooth and hydrated. I’ve noticed that after a blemish comes and goes, my skin heals much faster. In Internet speak, TLDR: Restorasis gives me the beautiful skin I dream about.

So what is Restorasis, exactly? Let’s talk science for a moment. The first part of the system, called the Rehydrating Complex Activator, is a hydrating mist comprised of over 70 trace minerals and fruit extracts. The Activator works with the Rehydrating Skin Repair Complex to improve dermal cell functioning (you know, to keep your skin fresh and looking new).

The second part of the system (the Rehydrating Skin Repair Complex) is packed with good-for-you ingredients, including lecithin (strengthens the cellular wall of skin to slow signs of aging); glycerin (a humectant that prevents moisture loss); jojoba seed oil; shea butter; amino acids; aloe; antioxidants ferulic acid and vitamin E; and a dozen other noteworthy (and food-grade, I might add) components. Trust me, it’s good stuff.

I apply the system at night to avoid an unpalatable 3 PM forehead shine (normal to dry skin folks don’t need to worry about this). After two sprays to my face, I spritz more of the Activator on the palm of my hand followed by one pump of the Rehydrating Skin Repair Complex. I then smooth the mixture all over my face and top it off with my nightly moisturizer.

Like clockwork, every morning I wake up with skin better than the last. So while the true value of a man or home may be up for debate, this my friends, is certainly worth the price of admission.

This looks great. I need something to diminish the fine lines I get so this looks like it does the trick.
