Scandal Thursday: Breaking it up
A third of my Scandal anxiety stems from the breaks: breakups, breakdowns, and the ever-enduring commercial breaks. And though I typically don’t look forward to breaks of any kind (except for spring break, that’s cool), this week when advertisers try to win us over, how about we get occupied with something a bit more beautiful.
During the first commercial break let’s wash our faces with a gentle cleanser. Juice Cleansing Milk is an apt choice.
When the second break arrives we’ll reward our skin with ExfoliKate, Kate Sommerville’s quick and potent chemical peel. Massage a nickel-size amount on the skin for 30 seconds and wait up to 2 minutes before rinsing.
By the third commercial break the Olivia Pope drama has surely reached a head. Calm down with a moisturizing mask. Clark’s Botanicals Deep Moisture Mask is a winner.
At the conclusion of the episode, we’ll rinse off the mask and apply our favorite evening moisturizer.
Scandal always knows how to make us look good.
